The pro-activist’s “Day of Celebration for the Global Goals” concludes our Social Good Summer which is taking place at Impact Hub Amsterdam, in the Westerpark.

This event celebrates the first year of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted by the United Nations (UN) Member States in September 2015 to end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure human rights and prosperous and fulfilling lives for all, as part of the new sustainable development agenda to be achieved by 2030.Our theme: “The Goals Turn One - See What We've Done?” is both a recognition of the successes that public and private sector, as well as grassroots organisations have enjoyed as the first anniversary nears - and a challenge to everyone, that we must intensify our efforts as the first deadlines (set for 2020) loom on the horizon.

We will beta-test messaging, undertake awareness-building and advocacy strategies and hopefully, be successful in forming new or strengthening existing partnerships between private and government sector organisations.Ultimately we aim to align the efforts of socially conscious individuals and organizations towards the Goals and help to muster support for the SDGs in the run-up to their first anniversary.
