Speak o' Freaky
Vrijdag 5 juni releast Speak o'Freaky haar eerste EP bij Ernesto's. De CD bevat songs als 'Funny Funky Feeling', de titel track 'It's On!' en de "all-time favourite" 'Hazed Up Eyes'.
Bio:
Speak o' Freaky was formed in 2009 when guitarist Chris Henderickx and drummer Thomas Props started playing music together in an attic after school, sharing an interest in bands like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against The Machine. Later that same year bassist Lars Jongen joined the band, whom Chris and Thomas met in their high school music class. Together, the trio defined the largest portion of the band's alternative rock sound. The band's vocals were sung by drummer Thomas until singer Joey Rutzerveld joined in 2012, completing their sound and making for a fierce competitor in the local band scene; their trump card being a characteristic and energetic live performance.

From that moment until today, Speak o' Freaky has been active almost every single month. Whether it's playing on festivals or band contests, the band has always had crowds cheering for them. Live appearances include: Koppelpop Festival, local venue Volt and Mama's Pride festival. They were also the winners of various band contests such as Podiumvrees and the Trevianum band battle and have also been featured on local radio station LOES FM. The band has also shared the stage with bands such as Sunday Sun, Soylant Green, The Deaf and Italian power metal band Stamina.
